About The Position

Cafe Quattro, located at the Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport, is seeking Baristas to join their team. Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Barista
• Serving it Right Certificate
• Exceptional organization with attention to accuracy and problem-solving ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
• Team player, with willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.
• Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in the food service industry preferred
• Food & Beverage knowledge an asset

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, engaging manner and assist with drink/food recommendations
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage making equipment
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the POS for processing customer transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation and serving areas
• Uphold food safety standards in food handling and preparation
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
• Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service, food and beverage service standards, and all other service standards.
• Have full and complete knowledge of all menus
• Ability to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way.
• Additional duties as assigned by Management
