About The Position

The Barista works independently with general supervision to create the Starbucks Experience by providing prompt service and quality beverages and products. The position also performs sanitation and cash register duties. The role is PRN at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or be at least 16 years old and have completed 10th grade.
• Customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with each customer, providing excellent service when customers select and purchase specialty beverages, coffee, sales items, and merchandise.
• Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders according to Starbucks standards.
• Present oneself professionally and communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Maintain sanitary equipment and work areas, completing cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Perform equipment maintenance according to the preventative maintenance checklist.
• Maintain quality store operations by following standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.
• Work as a team player and maintain customers’ confidentiality, privacy, safety, security, and decision-making rights.
• Perform other job-related duties as required by the supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation.
