About The Position

The Barista is responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the Reserve Shop. This role prepares and serves specialty coffee drinks and other beverages, assists with grab-and-go service, and helps ensure guests receive professional and friendly service. The Barista maintains an organized, clean, and sanitary coffee shop and work area while following applicable health regulations, hotel requirements, and operational procedures. The position also includes cash handling, inventory assistance, stock checks, and responding to guest complaints to support guest satisfaction. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, according to business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English.
Ability to provide legible communication.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
One year of experience in guest service.
Previous guest relations training.

Responsibilities

Set up, serve, maintain, and break down the Reserve Shop.
Prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages and other drinks.
Grind and brew coffee.
Assist in serving grab-and-go items and replenish items.
Handle cash and accurately record customer order information.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the Reserve Coffee Shop, work areas, and equipment.
Follow state sanitation and health regulations, hotel requirements, and operational policies and procedures.
Handle and resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist with inventories as scheduled, perform stock checks, and place new orders.
Represent the brand and culture through professional and friendly service.
Maintain punctuality and regular, consistent attendance.
Contribute to a positive work environment.
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required by business operations.
