About The Position

A DMC Barista operates and maintains retail stores while representing all DMC core values. This position must engage and execute all tasks and development training given by their respective Store Manager (SM) and Assistant Manager (AM). This job requires some heavy lifting up to 60 lbs. The Barista position is hourly tip-eligible, with a starting pay rate of $16.00/hr for tipped shifts and $16.20 for all untipped training shifts.

Requirements

  • Ability to protect and maintain company assets and equipment.
  • Ability to train and understand DMC equipment function.
  • Ability to train and understand POS and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to train and understand DMC espresso bar and brewing skills, including handcraft methods.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain retail stores.
  • Represent all DMC core values.
  • Engage and execute all tasks and development training given by their respective Store Manager (SM) and Assistant Manager (AM).
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by representing DMC’s core values with customer engagement.
  • Comprehend and retain knowledge of current and upcoming products through email releases and flawlessly executing all QC feedback forms and quizzes on time.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable workplace and service area using provided materials for guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with AMs and SMs on current events in store to drive performance.
  • Engage with new staff members in the barista training program to assist in skills and development.
  • Protect and maintain company assets and equipment, communicating all issues to store leadership to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Train and understand DMC equipment function.
  • Train and understand POS and cash handling procedures.
  • Train and understand DMC espresso bar and brewing skills, including handcraft methods.
