About The Position

Starbucks baristas create warm and welcoming customer experiences, serving coffee and other food and beverage products while engaging with customers and responding to their needs. The role involves preparing items according to standard recipes or customer customizations, handling cash, and following store safety, security, and operating standards. Baristas may perform a variety of tasks during each shift and are expected to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No previous experience is required.

Able to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, understand their needs, and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations.
Handle cash and follow store operating, safety, and security policies and standards.
Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
