Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift with scheduled rest and meal breaks)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Dependable professional who takes ownership of their role and cares about quality
Nice To Haves
- Barista or café experience
- Experience with opening or closing shifts
- Familiarity with FIFO inventory practices
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, beverages, and food in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate espresso machines, café equipment, and POS systems
- Manage cash handling accurately
- Keep both front‑ and back‑of‑house areas clean and organized
- Restock supplies using FIFO standards
- Stay attentive to detail
- Complete a full espresso bar and kitchen cleaning at close
- Properly secure equipment and deposits
- Ensure the café is perfectly prepared for the next day
- Represent Global Gourmet Catering with professionalism and care
