About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items using established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality and presentation. You help create a positive customer experience by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and responding to requests. You also maintain a clean and safe work area, restock supplies, keep equipment and service areas ready for use, and collaborate with coworkers to keep service running smoothly, particularly during busy periods. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and staying active throughout the day.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and respond to customer requests and questions.
• Follow recipes and procedures accurately to maintain quality and consistency.
• Prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Be familiar with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing service demands.
• Safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.
