About The Position

Lucky Goat Coffee is a specialty coffee production roaster based out of Tallahassee, Florida. Since 2010, we have focused on expanding our brand through a growing café portfolio, an expanding wholesale business, and a booming e-commerce platform with nationwide reach. We are a team passionate about coffee and focused on making every experience with our brand one to remember. To come alongside these goals, we have developed our Barista in Training position.

Requirements

• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and desire to accomplish any task.
• Must have strong organization and time management skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for 6 or more hours.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and service.
• Ability to work at least 3 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the cafe customer experience. Ensuring all customers receive excellence in both products and services.
• Cultivate a cafe environment that is inviting, clean, and mirrors the Lucky Goat Coffee brand image.
• Participate in company promotions and events for cafe staff and customer base.
• Maintain high-quality standards of food and beverage preparation in accordance with Food Safety regulations.
• Ensure that cafes are always ready to meet the needs of their customers.
• Maintain an accurate cash register.
• Processing of orders at the POS, providing pastry items, and preparing bulk coffee for special events.
