About The Position

As a Starbucks Barista, you create a warm and welcoming space where each cup of coffee can spark connection. You engage with customers, help make their day, and contribute to a fast-paced store environment. The role includes preparing beverages and food to standard recipes or customer specifications, handling cash, following store safety and security standards, and performing a variety of tasks during each shift. No previous experience is required.

Requirements

• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Able to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to learn quickly.
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality beverages and food products while following store operating policies and standards.
• Engage with customers, discover and respond to their needs, and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
• Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substituted ingredients.
• Handle cash and follow store safety and security standards.
• Perform a variety of different tasks within the store during each shift.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
