About The Position

As an on-call Barista/Fountain Worker at Vdara, you will create exceptional guest experiences through friendly, personalized service. You will primarily support Starbucks, preparing handcrafted beverages and delivering outstanding customer service, while also assisting at Market Café as business needs require. By understanding each guest's unique needs, you will prepare quality food and beverage offerings and create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain a valid Food Handlers card and Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card.

Responsibilities

• Take, place, serve, and garnish food and drink orders efficiently and accurately in the work area, as applicable.
• Collect money while following proper cash-handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house; clear tables and counters and sweep and maintain the dining area without interfering with guests' comfort.
• Pack and complete orders according to guests' preferences, including necessary condiments.
• Label and date products according to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock them in designated storage; organize, stock, and replenish products at workstations, counters, tables, and other areas as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise refer matters to management. Notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
