About The Position
CC Holdings is hiring part-time Barista/Cashiers for its Au Bon Pain Café located in Methodist Hospital. The role prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothies, in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner. Responsibilities
- Arrive in proper uniform and follow grooming standards.
- Set up the station according to café guidelines.
- Prepare beverages as directed, in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Follow portion-control and presentation specifications.
- Restock items as needed during the shift.
- Clean and maintain the station while following safety, sanitation, and organizational practices.
- Properly use and maintain equipment at the station.
- Greet customers, enter their orders, and provide fast, hospitable service.
- Treat customers and team members with hospitality, respect, and kindness.
- Merchandise products, check product quality and presentation, and restock.
- Provide fast, timely, and accurate service through communication, organization, and teamwork.
- Suggestively sell and inform customers about products, promotions, and other services.
- Follow cash-handling procedures.
- Accurately record orders, provide and receive change, and count the cash drawer.
- Thank customers and invite them to return.
- Serve as a role model for customers and staff and help train new barista/cashiers on the job.
- Work with the team to support operations, standards, and the café concept.
- Adapt to changes and assist with other tasks when asked.
