About The Position

This is a paid working barista apprenticeship program designed to train individuals from the ground up to become professional baristas. The program is extensive and focuses on Caffe Luxxe's signature coffee-making techniques and operations. The company is a fast-growing, family-oriented business that introduced the 3rd wave of luxury artisanal coffee to Los Angeles in 2006. They are known for their challenging, world-class training and are looking for individuals with a passion for coffee, culinary expression, and luxury products. Upon graduation, successful apprentices will be among the finest professional baristas in the industry. There is potential for growth into management or other roles within the company.

Requirements

Interest in coffee.
Willingness to be trained.

Strong desire to grow a career with a fast-growing, family-oriented company.
Positive motivation and aptitude.
Flexibility to work shifts any day of the week (25-30 hours per week).
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to provide a cover letter explaining the desire to be in the coffee industry, especially if lacking experience.
