About The Position

The LifeSpa-Barber provides hair services and treatments that improve guests’ overall sense of well-being and enhance their club experience. Services may include cutting, styling, and grooming facial hair to exceed guest expectations. The role does not include chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting, or perming.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of experience as a barber.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Barber license in the state where work is performed.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a barber in a professional setting.
Knowledge of Salon Biz software.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized services that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
Educate clients about LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to help them maintain their style.
Serve as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens while staying current in style and technique.
Promote LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
Maintain current certifications and knowledge of new industry trends.
Maintain workstations to salon standards.
