About The Position

The LifeSpa-Barber provides hair services and treatments that improve guests’ sense of well-being and enhance their club experience. Services may include cutting, styling, grooming, and styling facial hair to exceed guest expectations. The barber does not perform chemical treatments such as coloring, highlighting, or perming.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a barber.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Barber license in the state where the work is performed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a barber in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of Salon Biz software.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized services that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
• Educate clients about LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to help them maintain their style.
• Serve as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens while staying current in styles and techniques.
• Promote LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
• Keep certifications current and stay informed about industry trends.
• Maintain workstations to salon standards.
