About The Position

Herschend is seeking an enthusiastic and hospitable Barback to add to our restaurant operations team for our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate is driven to provide excellent dining experiences for our guests through proper steps of service and maintain a great work environment for our fellow hosts and vendors at Parton’s Live, a 114 seat listening room on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Inspired by Dolly Parton's epic career and trailblazing spirit, SongTeller Hotel in Nashville is as unique as the global icon herself. Dolly welcomes guests to a place where they can Love Every Moment; it is a place to unplug, to connect with loved ones and to be entertained. The Parton’s Live Barback position provides a unique opportunity for the right individual to be involved in opening restaurant operations efforts for Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel featuring 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton’s Museum. This position is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while simultaneously ensuring the success and profitability of our unique offerings. Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Food Handler Certification
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar before service including stocking glassware, ice, garnishes and supplies
• Break down and thoroughly clean the bar at the end of each shift
• Ensure all bar mats, tools, and equipment are clean and properly stored
• Maintain adequate stock levels of all beverages, mixers, and bar supplies throughout service
• Restock beer, wine, and spirits from liquor room to bars
• Monitor and replenish ice bins, garnish trays, and napkins during service
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed
• Participates in daily line ups
• Practices service standards and current training throughout service
