Parton's Live Server Assistant
About The Position
Herschend is seeking an enthusiastic and hospitable Server Assistant to join the restaurant operations team for Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel in Downtown Nashville. This role is crucial for providing excellent dining experiences at Parton’s Live, a 114-seat listening room, and maintaining a positive work environment. The position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the opening of restaurant operations for the SongTeller Hotel, which includes 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton’s Museum. The ideal candidate will be a curious learner, innovator, administrator, mentor, and motivator, driving results while adhering to the Heartspitality® culture and demonstrating a passion for storytelling through music.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain Food Handler Certification
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
Responsibilities
- Checks with Manager for daily objectives
- Assist service and kitchen team by bringing complete food orders from the kitchen to the dining room.
- Serve food to the guests following the trained guidelines.
- Clears and resets tables as needed
- Inspects dining room for cleanliness
- Provide excellent dining experiences for our guests through proper steps of service
- Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes
- Must be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management
- Participates in daily line ups
- Practices service standards and current training throughout service
