About The Position

The Bar back is a crucial support position. As a Bar Back, you are expected to help create a positive first impression by ensuring 100% cleanliness and sanitation at bars and service wells. The duty mainly focuses on the set up and cleanliness of the bartop, with the removal of silverware, plateware, and removing and washing glassware during or after each visit, along with the sanitation of both the seating area as well as the table itself.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and/or GED equivalent.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to work very well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional ability to engage with guests and consistently project a professional and incident-free dining experience for our guests
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are also required.
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to deal with a variety of variables.
  • Able to interpret various instructions.
  • Mathematics Ability
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Language Ability
  • Ability to read a variety of books, magazines and instruction manuals.
  • Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis; correct punctuation and variation in word order, using present, perfect, and future tenses.
  • Ability to speak, read and write fluent English
