About The Position

The Bar Back is a critical support role that keeps the bar operating at full capacity during service. You stock, prep, clean, and assist so that bartenders can focus on guests and drink production without interruption. This is a high-energy, detail-oriented position with genuine growth potential for anyone interested in moving into bartending or other front-of-house leadership over time.

Requirements

• No prior experience required — we will train the right candidate
• Able to lift and carry cases (30-50 lbs), move quickly, and remain on your feet for a full shift
• Organized and proactive — you do not wait to be told twice
• Reliable availability, especially on busy weekend nights

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar before service with ice, glassware, garnishes, juices, and any other mise en place as directed
• Replenish ice, glassware, liquor, beer, and supplies throughout service without being asked
• Collect and wash glassware continuously to maintain adequate supply behind the bar
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown at the start and end of each shift
• Keep the bar area clean — wipe surfaces, remove empties, organize storage
• Run bar supplies from the walk-in or storage as needed
• Support bartenders with basic prep tasks as time allows
• Communicate low supply levels to the bartender or Bar Manager during service
