About The Position

The Barback is responsible for providing set-up materials such as ice, glasses, coffee, etc., to all food and beverage outlets. The Barback is responsible for cleaning of all outlets, delivering ice, stocking glasses and service outlets during the shift as needed, and ensuring outlets have items and materials needed to operate efficiently. This role also involves washing glasses in the glass room by operation of a washing machine. The Barback will deliver passionate and engaging service to guests, build solid relationships with colleagues, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, potentially working in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations. The role requires consistently delivering the GUEST model: Greet or welcome everyone warmly with a smile, Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name, Establish/anticipate needs, Solve and own all requests/complaints, and Thank everyone.

Requirements

Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates.
Strong communication skills
Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
Must be able to work well with others in a productive manner.
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Valid Louisiana Responsible Vendor Server's Permit required

Responsibilities
