About The Position

aliveOne is looking for a Barback to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant who wants to earn good money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team. The company's flagship location, aliveOne, celebrates live music and offers a vibrant atmosphere with happy hour, live concert DVDs, and an all-live music jukebox. They host weekly events including live bands and DJ dance parties. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a hospitality mindset, a team player, and someone who spreads positivity. The company's mission is to enhance neighborhoods by creating enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Great communication skills
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• High-volume barback experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the bar is prepared and set up for success
• Keep constant awareness of the bar’s needs
• Change blown kegs
• Keep the bar clean, including all workspaces and glassware
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, etc.
• Bus tables throughout shift
