This role involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and ensuring doors are locked. The Barback will also be responsible for stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies, removing soiled wares from the bar top and tables, and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of work areas, the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools according to set-up guidelines. The position requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected, along with maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The role also includes welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with appreciation. Communication should be clear and professional. Developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals is essential, as is ensuring adherence to quality expectations. The job requires the ability to read and visually verify information, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating objects. The role involves moving over various surfaces and performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
