About The Position

Nice Life is looking for a Barback to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant and be motivated by sales. Nice Life aims to enhance neighborhoods by creating enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink, with a vibrant atmosphere inspired by the 70s, 80s, and 90s, featuring live music, karaoke, DJs, signature cocktails, and multiple bars.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Great communication skills
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• High-volume barback experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the bar is prepared and set up for success
• Keep constant awareness of the bar’s needs
• Change blown kegs
• Keep the bar clean, including all workspaces and glassware
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, etc.
• Bus tables throughout shift
