About The Position
Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Aloft hotel located in Downtown Milwaukee, WI. This position will be responsible for arriving, departing and in-house guests as well as telephone inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns. Bar tips including when working evening shifts!
Requirements
- Experience in a customer service industry is required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and inventory.
- Process orders, handle cash and card transactions, and accurately manage tabs.
- Verify guest age, follow responsible alcohol service practices, and comply with all safety regulations.
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Issues room key and gives directions.
- Sorts incoming mail and faxes for guests.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
- Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
- Makes, confirms, and cancels reservations.
