About The Position

The Bar Porter is responsible for cleaning and servicing an assigned bar area according to management’s cleanliness standards, helping maintain a clean, comfortable, safe, and attractive environment for guests. The role supports and promotes the Company Service Standards and includes cleaning bar mats and equipment, detail cleaning bar areas, and scrubbing, cleaning, and steaming assigned areas in accordance with Health Department codes. Work may take place indoors or outdoors and in environments that are unusually hot, cold, noisy, or exposed to second-hand smoke.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
• Effectively communicate in English.
• Work indoors and outdoors and tolerate environmental factors such as noise, dust, and second-hand smoke.
• Work with cleaning products, chemicals, and solvents using company-provided safety equipment.
• Have normal or corrected vision, be able to see color, and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment, including mopping, cleaning supplies, and safety equipment.
• Perform tasks from a non-sitting position, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.

• At least 6 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote the Company Service Standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Clean mats and bar equipment as directed.
• Detail clean bar areas.
• Scrub, clean, and steam assigned areas in accordance with Health Department codes.
