About The Position

The Bar Manager will be responsible for the supervision of the bar/food service operation, ensuring the standards of excellence are met. They will supervise associates and support financial responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in bar management/mixology
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • Manager ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is required but can be obtained after employment has been accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches bar team
  • Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions for the bar
  • Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
  • Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
  • Manage bar operations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Place all weekly orders for the bar and closely monitor inventory
  • Manages lounge as acting Manager on Duty in addition to bar manager
