We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and dependable Bar Back to support our talented bartending team. This role is essential to ensuring our bars operate efficiently, remain impeccably stocked, and consistently deliver the elevated service our guests expect. Requirements

  • Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and support the team.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or cocktail bar experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and bar operations is a plus.
  • Food Handler Certification and Tennessee ABC certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Keep all bar areas fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies throughout service.
  • Prepare fresh garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar stations, storage areas, coolers, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Wash and polish glassware while ensuring bartenders always have the tools needed for seamless service.
  • Remove empty bottles, boxes, trash, and recyclables to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist bartenders with restocking during peak service to ensure efficient guest service.
  • Receive and properly store beverage deliveries using FIFO inventory practices.
  • Follow all health, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Support banquet bars and special events as needed.
  • Work closely with bartenders, servers, and culinary team members to provide an exceptional guest experience.
