About The Position

Behind every great bartender is an exceptional Bar Back. Excalibur Park is looking for a hardworking, energetic, and dependable Bar Back to help keep our bar running smoothly during busy service. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that is essential to delivering an outstanding guest experience. If you enjoy staying busy, working as part of a team, and take pride in keeping things organized and stocked, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, including kegs, cases, and ice.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout an entire shift.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar fully stocked with beer, liquor, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout each shift.
• Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients according to recipes and standards.
• Change kegs and CO2 tanks as needed.
• Restock coolers and storage areas to ensure bartenders never run out of product.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including workstations, sinks, coolers, and storage areas.
• Wash and polish glassware throughout service.
• Remove empty bottles, trash, and recycling promptly.
• Assist bartenders by delivering supplies quickly and anticipating their needs during busy periods.
• Help receive, organize, and rotate inventory.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure the bar is ready for service each day.
