Requirements

Hospitality oriented
Previous experience as a Bar Attendant or in a similar role in a high-end hospitality setting.
Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Technical beverage knowledge and expertise.
Fully bilingual (English and Spanish)

Nice To Haves

Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Provide a high level of service in the bar area, ensuring guests enjoy their time.
Take and serve drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs promptly.
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following standardized recipes and hotel guidelines.
Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, equipment, and glassware.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
Process payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining accurate cash register records and reporting discrepancies.
Work closely with other bar staff and hotel team members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with training new staff as required.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and efficiency.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Secure liquor, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas at the end of every closing shift.
Complete closing duties.
Prepare a daily purchasing list to maintain inventory levels as directed by the manager.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; and complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
