About The Position

Left Hand Collective is seeking an outstanding Bar and Hospitality Manager for their two Denver restaurants: Left Hand RiNo Drinks & Eats and Dry Dock Pub. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on the bar program, guest experience, and hospitality culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others, a desire to learn and grow, and the ability to work well under pressure with a positive demeanor. This position involves leading the bar program, developing staff, improving beverage execution, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. It is not a desk-heavy role; the manager is expected to be present during service, interact with guests, coach employees in real-time, and lead by example.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of restaurant/bar experience.
  • Previous leadership, bar lead, supervisor, or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of beer, cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop employees.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in high-volume environments.
  • Ability to lead with both accountability and empathy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, events, and other peak business periods.
  • Ability and willingness to regularly work at both Denver locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or supervising a high-volume bar program.
  • Craft beer knowledge.
  • Cocktail development experience.
  • Experience with beverage inventory and cost controls.
  • Experience working across multiple restaurant locations.
  • Experience with Toast or similar restaurant POS/reporting systems.
  • Experience developing training programs or mentoring bartenders.
  • Understanding that great hospitality isn't scripted.
  • Caring about the details of a perfectly poured beer or well-made cocktail, and equally about whether the person sitting at the bar feels welcomed.
  • Enjoying teaching people, developing employees, talking with guests, solving problems, and jumping behind the bar when things get busy.
  • Ability to hold high standards without creating a rigid or overly corporate environment.
  • Encouraging employees to bring their own personality to the guest experience.
  • Taking ownership and proactively addressing issues.
