About The Position

The Bar Manager will oversee and streamline any and all bar operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing a team, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our bar services, and fostering strong customer relationships. This person will lead the bar team and drives the creativity of our beverage program during the PM shift.

Requirements

  • Significant experience bartending
  • Managerial experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organizing inventory and back-of-house systems.
  • Bringing creative new ideas to innovate and expand the current bar program in place, while meeting all brand standards.
  • Managing vendor communication and ordering and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensures clear, consistent communication with the team, including training, coaching, and leading staff meetings.
  • Lead, train, and mentor bar staff to uphold service standards and maintain a positive team culture.
  • Manages weekly schedules, coordinates staffing needs, and supports hiring and onboarding.
  • Developing a creative, seasonal, and innovative drink menu that elevates the guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment, while upholding all brand standards.
  • Supervise and mentor the bar staff, setting clear objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing training.
  • Oversee the entire bar operations, from inventory management to service execution, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on key bar performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all bar operations are compliant with statutory requirements.
  • Address and resolve escalated issues from both internal and external sources.
  • Be willing and available to step in behind the bar, with additional cleaning, or wherever else in necessary to maintain a positive and safe bar environment.
