About The Position

This role is responsible for the complete and efficient cleaning and setup of all function rooms according to customer specifications on event orders. The Houseaide will ensure all audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly, working with the A/V Company to ensure this. They will also make sure all items and banquet space are clean and in working order, including vacuuming and shampooing carpet, dusting walls and dividers, and mopping the service area when needed. The Houseaide will return electrical equipment to the banquet storage facility at the end of the day and maintain a clean storage facility at all times. Prompt removal of bus pans from function areas when full is also a key responsibility.

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying daily.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities
