About The Position

As a Banquet Attendant at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (Hotel) responsible to read an “Event Order” and set a room with tables, chairs, flipcharts, podiums, etc. to the specifications listed on the event order. Must take direction from Banquet Attendant Supervisor, Banquet Supervisor, Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Manager. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service, this could be the perfect role for you!

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry and transport relatively heavy equipment.
  • Has a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Good communicational skills.
  • Pro-active.

Responsibilities

  • Checks in and out with Banquet Manager, Captain and/or Supervisor.
  • Has ability to set a room to the specifications of each “Event Order.”
  • Able to assist Managers and staff in accomplishing guest satisfaction.
  • Able to keep banquet areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Able to change or adjust room set ups to better service guest or wait staff.
  • Able to work quickly, yet safely, when a room set-up must be changed.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must follow Fairmont standards and have an awareness what is happening in all function space.
