As a Banquet Attendant at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, you will be responsible for reading an “Event Order” and setting up rooms with tables, chairs, flipcharts, podiums, etc., according to the specifications listed on the event order. You will take direction from the Banquet Attendant Supervisor, Banquet Supervisor, Banquet Captain, and/or Banquet Manager. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service, this could be the perfect role for you! This role involves checking in and out with the Banquet Manager, Captain, and/or Supervisor, and having the ability to set a room to the specifications of each “Event Order.” You will assist Managers and staff in accomplishing guest satisfaction and maintain clean and organized banquet areas at all times. You will also be able to change or adjust room set ups to better service guests or wait staff, and work quickly yet safely when a room set-up must be changed. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to Fairmont standards, with an awareness of activities in all function spaces.
