About The Position

The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center in Pewaukee is seeking a Banquet Set-up Lead. This role involves leading a team responsible for setting up tables and chairs for various events such as meetings, events, and weddings. The position also includes some A/V set up. The ideal candidate must be adaptable to changing requests while maintaining positive interactions with guests and co-workers. This is a full-time position with generally 6am-2pm hours, but requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends. The pay rate is $22/hr.

Requirements

Age 18 years or older.
Ability to follow directions and have good math skills used for measuring and set up of banquet space.
Ability to lift and move a 72" round table.
Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds and sometimes 50-75 pounds.
Ability to communicate with guests in English.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Qualified applicants must be able to complete a pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous event set-up experience and supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and/or experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Open meeting rooms, coordinate staff to accomplish set up needs for the day.
Provide room set up and take down for busy hotel banquet department.
Respond efficiently to guest or management requests.
Perform some food service and cleaning components as part of regular hotel duties.
