About The Position

The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center in Bar Harbor, Maine, is seeking energetic and reliable Banquet Servers to join their team. This is a part-time seasonal position ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and enjoy contributing to unforgettable events. While the primary focus is banquet serving, the role requires flexibility to support other event duties as needed, ensuring the success of weddings, corporate functions, and special events. Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, move equipment, and be on your feet for extended periods
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup: tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffet stations, etc.
Provide food and beverage service to guests during events
Refill buffet stations and assist with plated meal service as needed
Clear plates, glassware, and utensils efficiently
Break down and reset event spaces after functions
Deliver courteous, professional service at all times
Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout events
Assist with basic beverage service and other event-related tasks as needed
Setting up and breaking down event spaces
Assisting with buffets and plated meal service
Clearing and cleaning tables and service areas
Moving banquet equipment and furniture
Emptying trash and assisting with event clean-up
