About The Position

Reporting to the General Manager Banquets & Catering, the Banquet Server will work with the Food Services Team to deliver great service and quality products to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience that exceeds their expectations. The Banquet Server will set up venues for a function or event prior to the guest’s arrival and tear down the venue when the guests have left. The Banquet server may also be required at times to be a Banquet Bartender. When bartending, the incumbent is required to ensure the safe and healthy preparation of food & beverage items and ensure proper sanitation techniques are being met at all times to avoid cross-contamination and the spoiling of food and beverages.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work with the Food Services Team to deliver great service and quality products.
  • Must be able to set up venues for a function or event prior to guest arrival and tear down the venue after guests have left.
  • Must be able to assist with other Park Hospitality departments where appropriate.
  • Must adhere to Compass Group Canada & Park Hospitality policies.
  • Must ensure cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the restaurant areas.
  • Must strive to uphold a safe working environment and be Health and Safety conscious.
  • Must ensure the safe and healthy preparation of food & beverage items and proper sanitation techniques.
  • Must adhere and comply with all Compass Group Canada & Park Hospitality policies, safety regulations and safe work practices.
  • Must maintain a professional image while working.
  • Must provide extraordinary experiences to park visitors.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain positive and inclusive relationships with co-workers, volunteers, and visitors.
