About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquet Server to greet banquet guests, take orders accurately, and serve food. The role assists the Banquets team with all aspects of banquet functions from start to finish. The Banquet Server is expected to deliver friendly, courteous, and professional service in accordance with resort standards, helping create a positive guest experience. The position may start as early as September and pays $2.13 per hour plus tips.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson.
- At least one year of front-of-the-house operations experience.
- General food and beverage knowledge.
- Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure guests are served promptly and efficiently.
- Read banquet event orders (BEOs) and become familiar with the menu for the assigned function.
- Serve guests according to resort standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Assist the Banquets team with banquet functions from start to finish.
- Greet banquet guests and take orders accurately.
