About The Position

The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service during special events, meetings, and functions. This role supports event setup, service execution, and breakdown while maintaining a high level of professionalism and hospitality. Schedules vary based on business needs, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests during events, ensuring a positive experience
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards (plated, buffet, or passed service)
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions
  • Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests
  • Clear tables, remove dishes, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
  • Assist with event breakdown and proper storage of equipment and supplies
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Adhere to company policies, dress code, and appearance standards
