About The Position

You know how to read a room — and a banquet room is no exception. As a Banquet Server at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle, you'll bring the same warmth and attentiveness to a seated dinner for 200 as you would to a table of two. You'll work as part of a tight-knit team to pull off events that guests are still talking about on the ride home.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel banquets.
• A valid Food Handler Certificate (where required).
• A genuine love of hospitality and a team-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver genuine, attentive service that makes every guest feel like the most important person in the room.
• Set the stage — literally — by preparing event spaces with linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
• Serve food and beverages during events with confidence and care.
• Field questions about the menu or buffet with ease, putting your food and wine knowledge to good use.
• Accommodate reasonable special requests without missing a beat.
• Take direction from Management and execute flawlessly as part of the team.
• Pitch in wherever needed — this is a team sport.
