A Banquet Server is responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. The server will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations. The server will consistently deliver our GUEST model: Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile; Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name; Establish/anticipate needs; Solve and own all requests/complaints; Thank everyone. The server will also build solid relationships with colleagues by treating them with respect and dignity, balancing team and individual responsibilities, exhibiting objectivity and openness to others' views, and supporting everyone's efforts to succeed. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned, and the employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
