About The Position

The On-Call Banquet Server/Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service during private events, weddings, Member functions, and club-sponsored gatherings. This role supports banquet operations through professional guest interaction, efficient event execution, and adherence to the high service standards associated with luxury hospitality and private club environments. This flexible, on-call position is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in fast-paced event settings and are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Must have a strong understanding of banquet menus, wine selections, and specialty cocktails.
  • Must be able to verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws and Company policies.
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, glassware, and supplies.
  • Must be able to monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
  • Must be able to handle Member charges accurately when applicable.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with banquet captains, culinary staff, and fellow service team members.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
  • Must uphold club standards for hospitality, discretion, and Member confidentiality.
  • Must follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet rooms, bars, buffets, and event spaces according to event specifications and service standards
  • Serve food and beverages in a polished, professional, and timely manner
  • Maintain a strong understanding of banquet menus, wine selections, and specialty cocktails
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service throughout events
  • Clear tables, refresh settings, and maintain cleanliness during and after functions
  • Assist with breakdown and reset of event spaces following completion of service
  • Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws and Company policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, glassware, and supplies
