About The Position
Kona Kai San Diego Resort is a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are currently seeking a positive, hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join our fantastic team as our Banquet Houseman On Call at our island-inspired resort.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and days including early morning, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Eager to learn and take pride in your work.
- Seek to work in a beautiful hotel where you constantly meet new people.
- Are reliable, have a flexible mind-set, and like to smile.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down of all banquet functions in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all spaces, including back of house.
- Transporting supplies.
- Interacting with guests.
