This role is responsible for the complete and efficient cleaning and setup of all function rooms according to customer specifications on event orders. The Banquet Houseman ensures all audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly, working with the A/V Company to achieve this. They also maintain the cleanliness and working order of all items and banquet spaces, including vacuuming and shampooing carpets, dusting walls and dividers, and mopping service areas as needed. Additionally, the role involves returning electrical equipment to the banquet storage facility at the end of the day and maintaining a clean storage facility. Prompt removal of full bus pans from function areas is also a key responsibility.
