Banquet House Attendant (On-Call)
About The Position
The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Banquet House Attendant to join their talented team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by arranging tables and chairs, cleaning, vacuuming, and executing banquet event setups. The position involves setting up, breaking down, and cleaning tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props according to banquet event orders. It also includes stocking and maintaining linen, china, silver, glassware, and supplies, as well as ensuring the cleanliness and condition of all banquet function spaces. The attendant will retrieve and store meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes safely and securely, and comply with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year food service or related work
- Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding room set-up
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Valid work authorization for the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Banquet experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order
- Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans
- Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Attend to guest needs and requests
