About The Position

Set up banquet rooms and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner while meeting high standards of quality. This full-time position serves guests at events, prepares and resets rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) or instructions, maintains banquet supplies and facilities, and supports cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality. Compensation is $17.00 per hour plus service fees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of banquet server experience in a similar role; experience in a similar-sized operation is preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50–75 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to use food and beverage equipment.
• Ability to stand and move about meeting spaces and kitchen areas for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver thoughtful, best-in-class service to guests.
• Prepare banquet tables according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Deliver food and beverages to guests, refill beverages, and check guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms after each function according to the BEO or instructions.
• Replenish and properly store condiments and supplies after events.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of banquet facilities.
