About The Position

Set up banquet rooms and serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner in accordance with high quality standards. The role delivers attentive guest service, prepares tables according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO), serves food and beverages, and ensures banquet facilities are reset, organized, clean, sanitary, and functional after each event. This is a full-time position at The Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of banquet server experience in a similar role.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50–75 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to use food and beverage equipment.
• Ability to stand and move about meeting spaces and kitchen areas for most of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role at an operation of comparable size is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Prepare banquet tables according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Deliver food and beverages to guests enthusiastically, revisit tables to refill beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms after functions according to the BEO or instructions.
• Replenish and properly store condiments and supplies after events.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of banquet facilities.
