About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu specifications. The Banquet Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and supporting food production for banquet events, catering functions, and daily prep operations. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality food presentation and timely execution of large-scale events. The Banquet Cook will collaborate closely with the Banquet Chef and culinary leadership team to deliver consistent, flavorful, and beautifully presented dishes, reflecting the team's dedication to culinary excellence and guest satisfaction. Requirements

1-2 years previous experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred
Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it
Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
Requires strong organizational and time management skills
Must be able to work independently
Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
At least 21 years of age
Have a desire to exceed expectations
An energetic personality

Responsibilities

Checks with leadership for daily objectives.
Support in setting up any a la carte stations required for mealtimes.
Produces dishes in accordance with standard recipes and presentations established by the Chef.
Preps, cleans, and organizes workstation.
Maintains a clean and sanitary culinary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
Performs banquet, kitchen line, and prep functions as directed by the Executive Chef, Hotel Chef and Sous Chefs.
Completes mise en place before start of service.
To include other duties as assigned.
