About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Captain to represent the hotel to banquet guests and oversee hourly banquet food and beverage servers. The position provides ongoing direction, supervision, and monitoring to banquet staff, and coordinates room and facility setup—including audio/visual and food and beverage—to support guest satisfaction, division standards, and profit maximization. The Banquet Captain also performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum high school education.
At least one year in a hotel customer service role.
Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
Outgoing personality.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Team player.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Excellent time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Food safety certification.
Alcohol awareness certification.

Responsibilities

Oversee the performance of hourly banquet food and beverage servers and serve as a personal representative of the hotel to banquet guests.
Provide ongoing direction, supervision, and monitoring to banquet staff.
Coordinate room and facility setup, including audio/visual and food and beverage, to support guest satisfaction, division standards, and profit maximization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
