About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and service-focused Banquet Captain to lead banquet operations at Hotel Vin Rogers, Autograph Collection during our opening phase. In this role, you’ll oversee banquet events from setup through completion, lead and support banquet team members, coordinate with culinary and event partners, and ensure each event delivers the elevated service experience our guests expect. From weddings and celebrations to corporate meetings and special events, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences while helping establish the service standards that will define Hotel Vin Rogers. Opening a hotel is a rare opportunity—one that doesn't come around often. As a member of our opening team, you'll help shape the culture, establish our service standards, and create the experiences that will define Hotel Vin Rogers from the very first guest. Requirements

  • Previous banquet captain, banquet supervisor, or hospitality leadership experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team while maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications, or ability to obtain as required
