About The Position

Do you love serving and interacting with people? If you have prior Banquet, Catering, or Event experience you might be a great fit for a Banquet Captain at Walters Wedding Estates. Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking candidates with a passion for providing excellent hospitality. This person acts with a sense of urgency when completing and delegating tasks. This leader should always have a smile on their face and looks for ways to improve the clients experience. A Banquet Captain excels in communicating instructions and providing direction to a team. The Banquet Captain takes direction from the General Manager but can also problem solve on their own when needed.

Requirements

• 1-year banquet or catering experience
• TABC, Serve Safe
• Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Submit/complete background check
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Oversee the set-up of break down of event space
• Maintain venue cleanliness at all times
• Lead a banquet team to execute flawless events
• Can execute against a BEO
